Sally S. Cohen, PhD, RN, FAAN
Sally Cohen, PhD, RN, received a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Cornell University prior to receiving a master of science in nursing from Yale University. After several years as a pediatric nurse practitioner, she returned to academia to complete an interdisciplinary doctorate in public health and political science at Columbia University.
Her scholarship focuses on the linkages among practice, policy and research for several areas, especially maternal and child health, the arrangements between advanced practice nursing and managed care organizations, and the burgeoning area of health care relationships.
