Donna Zulman, MD, MS
Donna Zulman, MD, MS, a general internist, completed the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars program at the University of Michigan. As a Clinical Scholar, Zulman examined the challenges that arise when a patient has multiple medical problems. Her studies examining these patients’ priorities and their representation in clinical trials were featured in the New York Times. Zulman is also interested in optimizing health-related technology to personalize care and improve outcomes for complex and older patients. She is the lead author on a study about patients’ interest in sharing their electronic personal health record information with caregivers, published in the Annals of Internal Medicine.
Zulman received her MD from the University of California, Los Angeles and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan. She is currently an Instructor in the Division of General Medical Disciplines at Stanford University, and an Investigator at the Center for Health Care Evaluation at the Veterans Administration Palo Alto Health Care System.
