Whither Twitter: Why, How and When to Tweet [HC3]

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Human Capital Communication Officers Monthly Series of Wednesday Webinars
For Human Capital Programs & Grantees

"Whither Twitter: Why, How and When to Tweet"

When: Wednesday, April 27th, from 2:00pm – 3:00pm EDT

We’ve all heard about it.  Twitter is “the next big thing” and it seems to be ubiquitous. Everyone from Atul Gawande to Ashton Kutcher to Anderson Cooper tweets, and many of your colleagues probably do, too. Twitter can help you stay up-to-date on news, issues, activities, people and organizations you’re interested in.  It can help drive people to a blog or a website, provide real-time coverage of events here and across the globe and give you a variety of perspectives on a single issue. That said, initially navigating the world of Twitter can be a bit daunting.

Join us to learn:

  • Why Twitter is a priority for RWJF and how the Foundation is using it
  • The basics of sending out tweets (in 140 character spaces or fewer!)
  • The most effective and innovative uses of Twitter
  • How Twitter can best serve your needs
  • How to set up and monitor a Twitter account from various devices
