Brian works with RWJF grantees to develop web strategies that align with organizational strengths, empower staff, and fulfill their missions. For more than 5 years, he has trained policy-focused professionals to become effective communicators on the web. He has lead workshops on online community and social media for communications staff, policy teams, and researchers at AARP, USAID, the Gates Foundation and many others.
Lisa Lederer and Gretchen Wright, PR Solutions
Lisa and Gretchen work with a variety of nonprofit organizations developing and implementing communications strategies to advance research, public policy and social issues. They oversee the RWJF nursing e-newsletter, Sharing Nursing's Knowledge, and the Human Capital Portfolio's Twitter account. They have drafted and posted numerous blogs for leading experts and advocates for health care and a variety of social issues, and conduct daily outreach to blogs as diverse as The Huffington Post, Salon and MomCorps.
Heather Kelley, Interdisciplinary Nursing Quality Research Initiative
As the program associate for INQRI, Heather has developed and marketed the INQRI blog, helping it grow to having hundreds of visitors monthly. She has organized successful blog carnivals on topics like medical errors and also maintains the INQRI Twitter account and YouTube channel.
