"Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action - Why All Health Leaders Should Get Involved"
When: Wednesday, January 18th from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. EST
This webinar will provide an overview of the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action – a national initiative which envisions a health care system where all Americans have access to high-quality care, with nurses contributing to the full extent of their capabilities. The campaign will guide implementation of the recommendations in the Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health, a landmark report released last year by the Institute of Medicine (IOM).
The IOM recommendations and campaign have important implications for all health professionals in areas such as inter-professional collaboration, education, leadership, diversity and research. The campaign’s success depends upon informing and engaging a wide range of key stakeholders, so the webinar will provide information on how RWJF Human Capital grantees can become involved at the state and national level.
The Campaign for Action is coordinated through the Center to Champion Nursing in America, an initiative of AARP, the AARP Foundation and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
