Scholar Testimonials
Being a Physician Faculty Scholar has allowed me to build a body of research focused on disparities in breast cancer care, specifically those related to breast reconstruction. The national leadership in plastic surgery now recognizes the magnitude of these disparities; they've launched a national campaign called "Choices" to educate the public about reconstructive options. Without a doubt, we wouldn't understand the magnitude of this problem, or be initiating an intervention at this point, without RWJF's help.
