Harold Amos Medical Faculty Development Program
Applicants must be physicians or dentists who are:
- From historically disadvantaged backgrounds (ethnic, financial or educational).
- Citizens or permanent residents of the United States or its territories at the time of application.
- Completing or have completed their formal clinical training, with preference being given to physicians and dentists who have recently completed their formal clinical training.
The Harold Amos Medical Faculty Development Program fellowship served as an important catalyst that enabled me to jump-start my research program through protected time and the ability to bring in trainees at a pivotal early point in my career. I am deeply grateful to have received this support, and for the opportunity to be part of such an exceptional community of scholars.
