The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health & Society Scholars program exposed me to innovative, multidisciplinary research. This experience transformed my thinking and helped me to approach complex urban problems from multiple viewpoints. In addition, the RWJF network has provided me with an intellectual and academic community outside of my own profession that allows me to collaborate around important ideas that relate to population health.
