Jonathan B. Jaffery, MD, MS

My year working for the Senate Finance Committee as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellow was life-altering, both personally and professionally. Gaining an understanding for how policy-making happens at the federal level has expanded my worldview, and has enabled me to take on new roles back at the University of Wisconsin. In my new position as medical director for delivery system innovation, I am able to take the knowledge and skills I learned as a Health Policy Fellow and put them to work every day, navigating through the complex world of the academic medical center to help carry out delivery-system redesign at the state and local levels.
